The P&O Ventura has a variety of restaurants, no less than 12 in total. From the nouveau cuisine made famous by its signature chef, Marco Pierre White in The White Room, to Spanish tapas at Ramblas or noodles and other oriental dishes in East, there is certain to be something to tickle the taste buds of even the fussiest eater.
The Ventura offers two styles of dining, ‘club’ and ‘freedom'; the former is open only within hours set down by the restaurant, while the latter enables passengers to dine whenever they feel hunger pangs. In addition to these, there is a 24-hour buffet, which is ideal for kids who do not stick to a routine other than their own.
Entertainment on P&O Ventura
Kid’s clubs and a play area for the under twos are great places, where children can have fun while mum and dad relax; with frequent visits from Noddy and Mr. Bump, they are certain to enjoy their stay.
While the children are being entertained, the rest of the family can try out some of the Ventura’s contemporary facilities; with activities as varied as bungee-jumping to sports courts and theatres; if you find yourself bored, you are doing something wrong!,/p>
The Metropolis bar, which is located on deck 18, is one of the iconic lounges on the ship. It features a panoramic picture of a different city every night. A library with books for sale is also available.
Facilities on P&O Ventura
Along with the various entertainment facilities, theatres, nightclubs, bars and restaurants, there is the Oasis spa and gym, complete with salon offering everything from facials and massages to hair dressing, as well a thermal spa offering heated mosaic beds and hot and cold rooms.
An unusual facility on board the P&O Ventura is a dentists’ lounge, which offers teeth cleaning and whitening.
Of the 1,546 cabins on the ship, nearly 900 have a private balcony. They have standard amenities, such as tea and coffee making facilities and fridges, ideal for storing purchases from the onboard shops. The cabins come in various sizes and layouts, ranging from standard inside to exclusive suites.
