Your holiday starts with your flight into Memphis where you will transfer to the legendary Heartbreak Hotel. The hotel is located on Elvis Presley Boulevard and is a stone’s throw away from Elvis’ private home Graceland. Upon arrival you will have evening at leisure but Ian and Lisa from Adore Cruises, Alvin along with Trevor Yeardye from elvis.co.uk will be around to acquaint guests and answer any questions.

The following morning is when the fun really begins, as we walk along Elvis Presley Boulevard for our VIP tour of the Kings mansion. Here you will see the house in all of its amazing glory as well as other spectacular attractions such as, Elvis’ private car collection and private aeroplanes. Once the tour has finished it will be back to the hotel in preparation for the evening where you are invited to join us for our hosted dinner with our special guest, George Klein

For the people who don't know, George Klein was one of Elvis’ closest friends. Elvis was George's best man at his wedding. At dinner, George will talk exclusively about his experiences with Elvis and his privileged life within the Elvis Presley inner circle.

Sun Studio and Civil Rights Museum

The following day you will be collected from the hotel and taken to the legendary Sun Studio. This is noted as the birthplace of Rock 'N Roll. It is here that Elvis and other musical greats such as Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Roy Orbison all started their illustrious careers.

On route back, we will stop at the infamous Lorraine Motel where Dr Martin Luther King was assassinated back in 1968. The building has since become a museum and is dedicated to the civil rights movement.

Evening in Memphis

The last evening in Memphis will be at your leisure, however you are more than welcome to join us down on historic Beale Street the home of the blues where the sights and sounds continue. Why not visit BB Kings blues bar, the Hard Rock Cafe or Silky O'Sullivans Piano Bar. There is a lot to do when walking with your feet 10 feet off of Beale!!

Amtrak to New Orleans

The following morning we will head off to the Deep South of New Orleans. We will be using Amtrak as we follow the spectacular Mississippi river to our destination, the Jazz City Capital of the world. Along the way, young Alvin will keep the troops entertained and perhaps even, if there is a guitar handy, a right royal sing song could be on the agenda .

3 nights in New Orleans

Upon arrival in New Orleans, we will be staying for 3 nights in a central French Quarter hotel. The days and evenings will be at leisure. However on one of the evenings, you will be invited to join us for dinner and a show, where great food and a typical New Orleans jazz band will be the order of the day.

New Orleans has so much to offer, whether trying the delights of the Cajun food, exploring the museums or riding a street car, there is something for everyone both day and night. As a not to be missed experience, Adore Cruises recommend that you take a paddle steamer down the Mississippi, as well as the Hurricane Katrina tour.

Carnival Conquest Caribbean cruise

The fun continues when we board the beautiful Carnival Conquest. We sail away into the Caribbean's crystal blue waters and head for Isla Roatan. The first 2 days are at sea and this is a great time to gain your sea legs and experience what cruising is all about. Whether it is lying around the pool with a Pina Colada in your hand, watching an onboard seminar, gaming in the casino or playing Bingo there will be something for everyone. On the first 2 sea days, in addition to the legendary Carnival entertainment, we will be looking to provide our own as well. Alvin will be performing his not to be missed, Ultimate Elvis Tribute Show, and on the 2nd night, we will be hosting an Elvis and Priscilla fancy dress ball. Be assured also, that we are working with Carnival to make certain our entertainment does not conflict with any of their spectacular parties and special guests. After two days at sea, we arrive in Mahogany Bay. Here you will have the choice of excursions from Carnival, or go ashore at your own leisure.

Next you will head to Belize and again can choose to book an excursion with Carnival or venture on your own

Our last port of call before returning to New Orleans is Cozumel in Mexico. This again offers great beaches, bars and shopping. Our recommendation here is a bar called Carlos and Charlie’'s. We are not going to say too much about this place, but if you do spend all day in there, we would like you to bring your shot glasses back on board with you, that is, if you are still standing! Some guests often like to take the opportunity to swim with Dolphins; we are pleased to tell you, that this can be done at Cozumel so take this opportunity and get up close with a very clever porpoise!

As already mentioned, Alvin is one of the UK's leading Elvis Tribute Artists. He has performed in London's west end and he also made it to the finals of GMTV's search for Britain’'s Best Elvis. (www.alvinprintwhistle.co.uk) However, Alvin’'s show~ is very different to the normal Elvis Tribute Show, it is very much about fun and humour and we know that many of the people who are joining us on this holiday are not coming purely for Elvis but coming, because of Alvin. We cannot stress how great and funny this guy is and we know he will help make the difference from this being a good holiday to an amazing holiday.

Many of Elvis fiend’'s and associates are now quite aged and therefore do not commit to any long term engagements. Consequently we cannot guarantee the personal appearances, however we will do our utmost to arrange the meetings planned to coincide with our visit.

All times and events planned can be changed or cancelled without notice. However we do plan to run all of the events above and possibly more.

Prices do not include airport/hotel and cruise transfers. However, being stateside, it is so easy for guests to jump into a taxi.
